Presidential palace Museum
This is the former place of President Habyarimana whose death started the Rwanda genocide of 1994. It was turned into a museum after the genocide to let people understand the life of Habyarimana and what used to occur in the state house. Some of the things seen inside this palace include the detectors which warned the president of the strange movements in restricted corridors. It is strange how some rooms of the palace/building look good while others are completely the opposite. The upper floor had a chapel on one side and a weird room for witchcraft on the other side. The remains of Habyarimana’s airplane that suddenly slammed/crushed into his compound are at the museum as well.
