Visiting Uganda From September To December

September is mainly known as the end of the dry season, but depending on when the rains come, you may have little rain on your safari. This is not a perfect time for gorilla trekking, however, if you can brave the opportunity of wet weather, you will surely save on your lodging and different safari rates.

October is not an active month when visiting Uganda. Costs are good and this is the right month of the year for deals on gorilla trekking permits. Most of the parks are always accessible this month, but the rain can be slightly unpredictable.

In November the rain continues. The dry grasslands in the country turn a deep green according to all the thunderstorms, but there are fewer travellers this month because of less perfect weather conditions.

December is the end of the wet season when it rains, making it a fantastic month to visit Uganda. This is the right month to travel to the northern and southern regions of Uganda for game viewing.
