Day-by-day itinerary for our Uganda Honeymoon safari
DAY 1: ARRIVAL AT ENTEBBE AIRPORT & TRANSFER TO HOTEL
Arrive in Entebbe for your honeymoon safari in Uganda. You will be picked up by our company representative at the Entebbe International airport and get transferred to the hotel in Entebbe to rest after the flight. Overnight Stay Laico Lake Victoria Hotel
DAY 2:- AFTER BREAKFAST TRANSFER TO LAKE MBURO NATIONAL PARK
Depart Entebbe for the travel down to Lake Mburo National Park. Along the way, we will make a stopover by the Equator for an opportunity to take pictures of a place where the northern and southern hemispheres meet. We hope to reach the lodge by Lake Mburo NP in the afternoon, check in, and then after in the afternoon move out for an evening game drive. The afternoon game drive offers the opportunity to see zebras, topis, giraffes, warthogs, cape buffaloes, impalas, and local birds. DAY 3: SAFARI WALK IN LAKE MBURO NATIONAL PARK AND TRANSFER TO BWINDI FOREST MOUNTAINS
Wake up for an early morning safari walk, the opportunity to see Leopards, zebras, waterbucks, birds, and buffaloes in their leisure wilderness life. Get back to the lodge for your breakfast and then begin the transfer to Bwindi Forest Mountains. This travel provides an attractive view taking you from grown hills onto forest-covered mountains. We have to grab lunch along the route and reach for the check at the lodge in the late afternoon. Overnight Haven Lodge Buhoma
DAY 4: GORILLA TREKKING DAY- BWINDI IMPENETRABLE FOREST NATIONAL PARK
Bwindi Impenetrable National Park is the residence of the mountain Gorillas that are cousins to human beings. Have an earlier breakfast before heading to the beginning center for information on the honeymoon safari on your Gorilla trekking experience. You will walk into the Bwindi Forest with a skilled guide, walk through the attractive wilderness and eventually get to finish one hour with the mountain gorillas of Bwindi Forest. This Impenetrable National Forest is as politely full of bird species, butterflies, and plant species plus forest hogs, forest elephants, sitatungas, and dikers. When you have completed your Gorilla trekking experience, transfer to the lodge at the border of Queen Elizabeth National Park in the southern part of the Ishasha sector. Overnight Topi Lodge
DAY 5: MORNING GAME-DRIVE IN ISHASHA SECTOR & TRANSFER TO THE MAIN PART OF QUEEN ELIZABETH NATIONAL PARK FOR A RELAXED AFTERNOON AT THE LODGE
In the morning, we will transfer off to the adventurous expansive tropical of the Ishasa sector of Queen Elizabeth National Park, understood for its tree-climbing lions. Here we will grab an opportunity to see Topis, buffaloes, and elephants and hopefully, see the lions laying high in the Fig tree branches. This is one of 2 places in Africa where lions have the tradition of regularly climbing trees to take a nap. After the game drive, we create travel northwards on the adventurous road going through the park to the northern parts of Queen Elizabeth National Park. Along this route, you will be blessed to see elephants, monkeys, and also big cats. Check-in at the lodge and finish the afternoon resting and taking in the excellent views at the lodge. DAY 6: CHIMPANZEE TREKKING IN KYAMBURA GORGE AND BOAT-CRUISE ON THE KAZINGA CHANNEL
In the morning we create the trip to Kyambura gorge to trek with our nearest humans the chimpanzees. You will go in a group with a professional guide and trek through the gorge to hopefully acquire a suitable view of the chimpanzees. The Kyambula gorge provides a unique wildlife adventure as it is a forest covered in the middle of the tropical. After lunch, it is time for the final experience of your honeymoon safari the luxury highlights of a 2hrs boat cruise on the well-known Kazinga channel, a 36km channel connecting Lake George and Lake Edward. From the boat, you can view the land and water occupied by Hippopotamuses yawning and some cutting teeth to each other, the Nile Crocodile moving along the water pools, and tropical Warthogs/Pumbas of the award-winning Lion King are a sign in this Animal home. DAY 7: FLIGHT FROM MWEYA TO ENTEBBE AIRPORT
Enjoy a final breakfast in Uganda and then your driver transfers you to the airfield for the flight to Entebbe International Airport as you spend your honeymoon safari in Uganda. Prepare for a late afternoon or evening flight to Entebbe or you can add an additional overnight stay to fly the following day.
